Our 13U boys are blessed to have an incredible coaching team this season. Andrew and Celeste are both former national team members, having been a part of Team Canada in different ways (Men's Beach Team for Andrew and Junior National Women for Celeste). In addition to coaching for Peterborough Thunder, Andrew runs the popular Soul Beach Volleyball organization in Peterborough and Cobourg.

Celeste was a member of Team Ontario for four years and proudly represented Canada on the Junior National Team for four years as well. She continued her volleyball career on athletic scholarships at Saint Leo University in Florida and Angelo State University in Texas. Celeste is passionate about developing athletes and sharing her knowledge, experience, and love of the game with the next generation of volleyball players.

We are pleased to have Gibson and Laci join the Peterborough Thunder coaching staff for the first time this season. Both Gibson and Laci have been heavily involved in the Fleming Phoenix program in recent years, both as players and coaches. We look forward to their fresh perspective, helping develop some of our younger Peterborough Thunder athletes!

We are pleased to welcome Mike back to the Peterborough Thunder coaching team. Mike has coached teams in our boys teams for several years, we welcome his return and look forward to seeing him continue the development of our 15U boys team this season.

16U Boys - Thunder Storm

Leading our 16U team this season are Mark and Kate! Mark has been a dedicated coach with Peterborough Thunder for several years, bringing a wealth of volleyball knowledge, strategic coaching, and a passion for athlete development. Kate is a former Peterborough Thunder athlete who also played in Durham and Cobourg throughout her career. Together, they're excited to help our athletes grow both on and off the court while creating a positive, competitive, and supportive team environment.

Cam and Liz are an incredible coaching duo that have been a part of the Thunder organization for many years. We look forward to seeing this team grow and excel under the high energy influence of these coaches. Cam is also heavily involved in the running of our popular House League program, and the entirety of the Peterborough Volleyball community is grateful for his contribution of time and energy to make that program successful.

18U Boys - Team "A" Name TBD

Mike R has coached with Peterborough Thunder since 2008 when he started the Boys division to join the established Girls program. With more than 30 years coaching experience in the OVA and at various sports camps, Mike brings a significant depth of knowledge and expertise to the club.  In addition to coaching our Senior Boys, Mike has been on the club's executive for more than five years, helping provide overall leadership to our growing club.  Joining Mike as an Assistant Coach will be Noah Blais, who has been an assistant coach with Thunder in the past, rounding out a very solid group of coaches for our 18U teams this season.
